Our VSI-2534 is a J2534 Pass-Thru device with a primary purpose to program automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs). It provides module programming for development, end-of-line testing and re-programming. Easy to use “Out of the box” J2534 Pass-Thru device.

Supported Protocols and APIs:CAN (ISO 11898, J2284), Single-Wire CAN, ISO 15765, ISO 9141, KWP2000, J1850 PWM (Ford SCP), J1850 VPWM (both GM Class 2 and Chrysler), SCI and GM-UART. J2534 API Version 0404 support.

Diagnostics

Our VSI-2534 primary purpose to program automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units). A useful tool for vehicle diagnostics, development, general design, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and anywhere communications with a vehicle network are required. It is perfect for running the J1699 emissions compliance testing software required by CARB. It provides a stable reference design during module development and testing.

The Dearborn Group J2534 SDK
　

The scope of this utility is to help user develop a J2534-based application compliant to 04.04 specification.
Installation application (EXE, 313K).
The source code for the utility is located under 〝C:\J2534 SDK\Source Code〞 (default installation directory 〝C:\J2534 SDK〞) and can be used for reference while developing an application.
The executable can be created by compiling the source code with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 or later.
This application is designed to communicate with any Dearborn Group Technology J2534-based products. One of these DG products need to be properly installed for this application (or a user created version) to be usable: VSI-2534, Python, or one of the Gryphon Family tools.
